The event will start with opening remarks by the President and Founder of Host in Ireland, Garry Connolly.
This will be followed by David McAuley’s (Bitpower) presentation on Irish Data Centres in Numbers.
Following the talk, Tanya Duncan (Interxion), Bernard Geoghegan (Host in Ireland) and David McAuley (BitPower) will discuss data centres and Ireland, the opportunities and risks for sustainability. The panel will be moderated by Garry Connolly (Host in Ireland).
Emma Barrett will present the advantages of participating in Techies4Temple Street. Now in its 4th year and taking place on 6th July, join over 1,500 members of the Irish tech and business communities and take to the streets of Dublin for a unique treasure trail, combining outdoor activities with digital media challenges whilst making an impact to the lives of sick children across Ireland.

After a short break, James Byrne (DCU) and Sergej Svorobej (DCU) will introduce RECAP, a Horizon2020 project to develop a radically novel concept in the provision of cloud services, where services are elastically instantiated and provisioned close to the users that actually need them via self-configurable cloud computing systems.
Alec Leckey (Intel) will present Intel’s contribution to the RECAP project and discuss how it maps to the wider Edge/Fog agenda within the Intel labs.
This will be followed directly by the final panel moderated by Jim Rice (Sirus Engineering). The panellists will include Peter Connolly (EnerNOC), Paul Carthy (Mercury Engineering) and Greg Hayden (Ethos Engineering).
