Amit Varma, Head of Technology, Citigroup is a fintech pioneer, business visionary and technology leader with over 20 years expertise in the financial services domain across the world’s leading financial services organisations.
Amit has been instrumental in the digital transformation of Citi’s Banking Channels group by setting fintech direction, strategy formulation and driving execution for industry leading technology products and solutions in the areas of payments, funds management, cash management and fraud/ risk management.
Prior to Citi, Amit has helped transform technology strategy, teams and product portfolio for global product and technology organisations within Fidelity Investments, American Express, Deutsche Bank, AIB and State Bank of India.
Amit has an MBA from Michael Smurfit Business School, Dublin and a Degree in Engineering from Mumbai University.
