Andrew is currently the main PI on an EI commercialization fund project entitled DATAS (Deductive Analytics for Tomorrow’s Agri Sector) and co principal investigator on a science foundation of Ireland targeted project which is co-funded with the Kepak Group.
He alsoleads a group of research assistants and Ph.D students in the development of Data Science techniques which can be applied in the Agricultural sector and the development of Agri analytical tools. Their aim is to create cloud based tools that will allow the end user to make predictions about future prices from pre-developed datasets.
